Altar Flowers | St. James Episcopal Church Houston

Flowers are placed on the altar for the worship service. The only exception is the season of Lent when flowers are not used in worship. Those who wish to sponsor the flowers for one or more Sundays of the year are asked to sign the Flower Chart in the narthex and provide the information to our church office coordinator. Throughout the year, such as Christmas and Easter, there are opportunities for members to sponsor a flower in honor or memory of someone, and to the Glory of God.
